Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a popular method of rehabilitative treatment for people of all ages who have physical problems and pain caused by illness, accident or injury.

The main goal of physiotherapy, sometimes referred to as ‘physio', is to help people improve their range of movement in order to promote health, well being and pain free living. In particular, physiotherapists concentrate on problems that affect muscles, bones, the heart, circulation and lungs. Physiotherapy involves a range of treatments, including manipulation, massage, exercise and electrotherapy (Ultrasound and Electrical Muscle Stimulation).
